Core lodge Dec 4

Heavy winds and warm weather made for a good day to explore some new trails for the first ride of the year. We Rode some steep slopes in the morning but decided to pull out and ride in the trees. Heard some loud rolling thunder like avalanche activity in the near distance as temperatures climbed to +5. seen a few shooting cracks on wind loaded slopes. Definitely needs a large reload of snow before it’s worth going back out, but any day on the hill is better than a day at work.
