RMR backcountry

Did some skiing off Revelstoke Mountain Resort today. Alpine was pretty wind effected, but skiing wasn't too bad. Also skied some open trees which were really nice. Snow was quite settled but it was still nice and soft. Of note is the big surface hoar found in sheltered areas at and below treeline. I love how it looks and sounds, but it's definitely going to be a factor after the next storm hits. We didn't notice any in the alpine, where it's likely been battered by the wind.
