Touring Sunday in the valley between Hardisty/Kerkeslin, getting up to 2200m on a south facing slope. Below 1700m we had ski pen of 30+cm with a thin solar/heat crust. Above 1700m much more supportive and easier travel, with no instabilities noted in the morning and lots of good skiing experienced. Around 5pm, while skiing out of the valley, I set off a small 2m wide slide on isothermal snow (40+ degree slope) that went for about 15m and was ~50cm deep.
