Gypsum Ridge

Quite day at gypsum, fewer tracks then usual. snow was great. We skinned up a south aspect mid afternoon and found suncrust on SE aspect and wet snow on sw aspect in the trees. Lots of small point release loose avalanches on solar aspects to size 1 in the alpine. Steep unskiable east aspects had a few loose avalanches to size 2 from small cornice drops. Heard a large avalanche mid-afternoon but couldn't see it.
