Quick Observation

Awesome conditions the higher you got, albeit a little heavy and wet in some spots. Late start to the day so we stopped as soon as we saw debris near our uptrack (right below the bench into the bowl). Stayed there for awhile to eat and dig a pit and never saw the small cornices/windlips fail but still didn't want to risk it. Skied down the steep avvy runout in the shade into the trees then down into a solar aspect, low angle run out. We limited our exposure time here but due to the low angle weren't worried about it as a start zone.

Avalanche Information

Loose wet from steep terrain on solar aspects all day, as to be expected. Didn't see any crowns under debris and didn't see any cornice failure.

Snowpack

Did a CT on a slope right below the bench, got non planar fracture at CT15 then RP at CT25. Below that was extremely consolidated, hardpack snow that could not be broken even jumping on it multiple times.
