Quick Observation

Good ski quality up high, if you can get there. Needs another 50-100 cm at 1,500 m to be worthwhile. HS 100-120 cm above 1,800 m. 40 cm of low density HST overlying the mid-Nov crust. Whumpfing and shooting cracks propagating up to 10 m from skis on isolated features. No skier results on a short, steep (>35) feature. Between 1,500-1,800 m: 70-100 cm HS on open slopes, 30-50 cm under tree cover. Below 1,500 m: unskiable, 30 cm moist HST, pinwheeling and small loose wet slides. FL climbed from highway to 1,500 m around noon.
