Stayin' Frosty

Overall great day up Frosty E1. No new activity observed other than previous pinwheeling and small WL from solars, and old debris from steep rocky NE slope (pic). Firm 1F crust on travel up through BTL and TL elevations. In Alp, 1F to P wind hammered surfaces in open features and alpine bowl, with raised tracks and 10cm thick P wsl, unreactive to multiple Sc. After snow conditions on ascent, we were pleasantly surprised with 10-15cm ski pen in our descent route, with good sking above 1850m on a N asp. Scattered clouds and moderate gusting strong @ SW winds with isolated snow swirling in alp features, but no consistent transport observed.
