Heros knob area

Approx 30cm dry powder on NE thru NW aspects above the crust, which stayed firm. Crust was at all elevations but remained supportive. Hit crust a few times on downslope but wasn't a major factor... rode the tree triangle, full sweet 16 loop, then northern fans. Skiing was good on all. Temps remained just cold enough throughout. Wind hit late am for about 30 mins, but new snow remained uncohesive on all aspects. Only one L/D 1 off the headwall which didn't propagate anything below. HS 240, Ct 30 uneven break down approx 75 where the pack started faceting, E aspect at top of tree triangle. Fairly progressive snowpack, even the lower facets were reasonably dense and somewhat bonded compared to normal.
