NE of Rosswood. We went to a zone familiar to us for sled skiing, usually a good bet for storm riding. We ran a lap in the trees with no signs of instability The wind was hauling at ridgetop (50km/h give or take) transporting snow onto leeward slopes. First turn into our second run we ski cutted a size 1/1.5 at ridgetop on NW aspect at 1400m. Crown varied in size from 20cm up to almost 1.5m. Safe to say the wind is transporting a lot of snow so be careful in more open areas, the previous NE winds really did not leave a nice surface for the new storm snow coming in. I suspect areas like South Douglas to have very similar loading. Electric.
