Quick Report

Skied SE facing terrain between 16-2100m near Corbin Peak where we found 40-50 cm of recent snow above a 1-2 cm crust. Surface snow is wind affected above 1900m and stiffer wind slabs exist in immediate lees. New snow has minimal slab properties in sheltered areas so we skied below tree line where the snow quality was better, and we avoided large slopes and wind loaded areas. No signs of instability observed.
