Quick Observation

An Amazing day of skiing, its snowed all day. The area has received over 80 cms in the past few days. Today's snow was very loose and dry but the snow from the past few days was more dense and slabby. We skied a little steper terain (35-40) in the trees on the way back in bounds. It was very sluffy with lots of shooting cracks.

Avalanche Information

There was a size 1 today on secondary. The slab that released was only 20 ish meters wide but there was a crack the propagated about 100m, about 30cm wide. Avalanche was either natural or skier remote from about 100m. The slope it was on was not more the 30 degrees, but it was on a small rocky convex feature.
