Quick Observation
Ascended and skiied Anniversary Glacier. Wind was gusting hard (SW direction) near and just below the col, lots of visible snow transport. Snow was generally very wind affected - firm and grabby. It was tough skiing. Observed some shooting cracks about halfway down. While it was relatively cold at the Col, temps were very warm below about 1600m (skin track melting). Quite abit of debris down the bottom of the glacier but unclear whether there have been additional slides beyond the fatal slide incident from a few weeks back.
