Slide Chutes

<p>Great skiing in the Easp at log cabin chutes. At 1250m and above the snow was quite wind affected.
Vis was poor and as a result so was my route finding which put us on a small steep slope the slid easily (size1) at 1200m. After digging into the crown, we found the failure layer was on a thin ice lens with faceting 25 cm down. Any further tests showed very easy to moderate failures.
