Amazing day at healy pass. Multiple laps on the N facing slopes. No significant wind slabs or cornices yet, however the wind was strong all day and was beginning to move the new snow around. We were comfortable skiing steep as well as convex slopes, stability was great. Between 50-70cm unconsolidated powder in some places. A thin crust layer seemed to be bonded directly to the ground in the alpine, while a persistent crust could be found below 10-15cm of powder below treeline.
Overall very low risk, with several parties obtaining alpine objectives in the area today.
