The Wind Slab Takeover

We skied 8812 today. The temperature was freezing but pretty manageable in the sun. No signs of instability as we ascended.
Big slab avalanche and significant wind affect from top to bottom. Skiing was okay, but watch out for small pockets of wind slab. Recent snowstorm improved coverage, but the wind messed things up.
Adding to the mystery: The elusive Gorge Goblin and the Pirates of the Rogers Pass seem to have vanished. Where on earth are they hiding?
