Ten Mile Fjord

<p>The last 3 days have brought a massive amount of snow to this area. All aspects, 50-80cm of new, low density snow. Evidence of winds in the Alpine, with loading on the North and South rims of the valley. We stuck to snowmobiling/breaking Trail in the valley bottom. The holes are getting deeper, the snowpack is alarmingly deep given the rains we have received. Recent snowfall amounts, have out performed the forecasted amounts, by quite some margin in this zone. Full Winter is back up on us! </p>

30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.

Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.
