8812 opening day

What a day for the first day of touring 8812 bowl this season! The up track was in good condition (for November) Bruins ridge was mildly spicy requiring all fours at some points. At the top there was approximately 100cm of snow, but did not cover all the rocks. My skis sure took a beating. There was approximately 20cm of storm slab. Some isolated wind affected areas near the bottom of the bowl.
