Went for a gentle walk up Panorama Ridge looking for soft turns today. The summer trail is in great shape and the creek access to the ridge is also well filled and easy travel. 2100m and up had consistently well over 1 meter HS. At ridge top winds were light from the SW but soft wind slabs were actively forming. Skiing in the trees was deep and blower with no slab properties in the new snow. Despite the new and large load we did not observe any shooting cracks, whumps, or naturals all day.
