Polar Circus Climbing

Climbed Polar Circus up to the top of the Pencil and decided to pull the plug as the sun was coming out with no cloud cover and temperature was rapidly rising. Observed spindrift coming down from the top of the bowl above the upper pitches and our descent near the bottom was causing considerable continuous sloughing of snow as it warmed up and slid easily. Relatively fresh avy debris on the approach slopes to the left of the route, nothing fresh or noticeable on the route itself. Some moderate but old debris on the bottom of the first pitch.
