Touring with the marten

Skied north, northeast and east slopes Jan 6 & 7. Delightful skiing. No wind affect or signs of instability. Sluff management was required as sluff ran quickly on hard surface underneath. Noted minor wind pressed slabs near ridge tops (3-5cm thick) on west aspects. Only one sign of release where snow pulled out below a cornice on an east aspect. Didn't travel far and didn't entrain much snow (see photo).
