Quartz ridge tour

Toured over to the first bump of quartz ridge. Ski penetration was about 10-20 cm in the meadows. The ridge was very wind affected. Skiing down to leeward side had about 20-30 cm of snow on a hard crust. Skiing quality was much better closer to rock isle lake (again on leeward side). No signs of instabilities through the day. Wind was gusty and from the south/southwest.
