Conditions update Connaught creek

15cm of moist new snow over a thin but supportive crust in 8812 bowl at 2250m. Lots of evidence of the wet avalanche cycle from the past few days. Of note, a very large avalanche (at least size 3) plowed down the main ski line of 8812 bowl, almost to the bottom (see picture).
