Good vis and snowpack

Good day of skiing. Skied steep sections with confidence having a good pit and column test.

Good weather. Slightly warmer tempts may be helping to heal and consolidate the snowpack.

Snowpack column test showed an uneven breakline deep in the snowpack but only after 7 hard (from shoulder) smacks on the shovel. I wouldn't view this as a faultline but rather characteristic of the snow. Snowpacks looked well consolidated. Very blocky when digging with shovel.
