No obvious signs of instability or effective wind loading where I traveled. The two layers I mention in the summary are not currently reactive in this area, but the same layering in other parts of the Park Range with more recent, heavier loading would be suspect. The snow depth in this area is 65 to 85 cm on east-facing slopes and the one north-facing slope I dug on had a snow depth of 108 cm. See snowpit images for details.
