Excellent Elma

Skied NE and W aspects of Elma today. Snow felt bottomless. Boot penetration 40cm. Ski penetration 20cm. 5-10cm received overnight. Lots of snow redistributed due to wind on summit, ridges and lakes. Skied great in protected trees. 135cm at Helen Mackenzie lake. Forgot to probe at the summit. No signs of instability noted.
