Musical Bumps

Some observations from Oboe & Flute: - ridge lines are wind effected and wind packed - best riding was on sheltered slopes from about 1850m to 1600m. Snow becomes gradual heavier below 1600. - Cowboy ridge is severely wind effected (see pictures) - ski penetrative 0 to 5 cm on ridge lines, 5 to 15 cm at TL and 10 to 20 cm at valley bottoms - no natural avalanches or instabilities observed - steeper slopes and convex areas on Lee sides looked wind loaded - windy (40+ kph) on ridge lines
