Fraser Sunday

Warm -4 and no wind. Skied 3 good runs in the chutes, boot top pow. Busy day we counted 18 people including ourselves. I thought everyone did a good job at giving space and communicating. 2pm the fog rolled out and we were able to get on top of Fraser ridge. Above 1300m snow became more wind affected. Good visibility and calm winds allowed us to use shallower angle terrain to climb. While more wind affected in the alpine it was far from the wind blasted snow usually can find throughout the pass, wind “crust” on smaller south aspects. Thanks to the AvCanada Yukon Team.
