Bow Summit Study Plot - Snow Profile

Easy failures on the December 15 surface hoar in this snow profile, but limited slab development above this layer. In general the snowpack is becoming weaker as it facets but it is still supportive to skiers in most areas. Lots of recent loose dry sluffing observed out of steep gullies in the area.
