- <p>Not much structure in the snow pack right now and no slab yet to speak of, but with more snow and wind things should start to change.</p>
Another observation from the Bald Mt. Pass area and it seems like this is one of the few places to move around on the thin snow pack.
1. Not much going on down at the north slope trailhead.
2. People are getting out and walking around on the thin snow pack.
3. Still need some good storms to get the terrain covered to move around safely.
4. The storm clouds started to move in around noon today.
Snowpack
The surface snow was loose and faceted and there was a little bit of a base near the ground, but generally it was difficult to not hit lots of rocks and trees.
