Continuous whumphing was observed at TL, indicating a very weak base and higher avalanche hazard than expected. Ski pen 40cms made for arduous travel at higher elevations. Lower down, HS in the trees was only 5-10cms. Obs. report for 1675-2175m. Limited ALP obs.
