Favorable Asulkan conditions

Weather: Sunny. Noticed that barometric pressure decreased steadily and slowly throughout the the skin up to the turn around. Pressure stayed at ~1012 thereafter. Temp at hut ~-4C at 11:30am. Slight breeze coming over the col. Stopped for a nice snack briefly before going up a little further. Snow pack: From hut up to ~2,300m (where I stopped): wind and solar effected, but still with ample give. Faceted below the surface. Lots of signs of prior S/SW wind effects; cornices on all surrounding peaks. Below hut to mouse trap: powder. All terrain skied was stable.
