Since Dec 22 there has been lots of new snow which is all now sitting on the rain crust. the rain crust is down 40-90cm depending on aspect and elevation. We observed many wind slabs and evidence of wind transport, and with the winds changing Saturday night (SE) to Sunday morning (SW) there are a couple of wind slabs sitting on top of the Dec 22 rain crust. We were able to produce results on multiple layers within the snowpack.
Temperatures warming.
We had CTM 11 down 20 on an interface between 2 wind slabs, and also CTM 20 down 25 on a different interface between wind slabs. We also had results of CTH 24 on facets down 60 which is just below the Dec 22 rain/melt freeze crust. We also had ECTP 23+1 on this same layer. Both SP.
