-
Rapid warming was the only red flag issue I noticed, but there was little in the way of wet sluffs today. A light west and southwest wind kept things in check and not much wet activity.

I did not notice any recent avalanche activity in my travels today, this sluffing is likely from a chunk of cornice that fell earlier in the week from strong winds.
It's a great time to be in the high country right now with the Uintas having a nice thick snow pack for this time of year.
The trail head and first few miles of the highway are a little thin and rough, but gain a little elevation and the conditions are quite good.

-
A brief window of supportable snow this morning allowed for good traveling around the mid and higher elevations. Warm temperatures quickly softened the sun exposed slopes. I did not notice much in the way of wet activity, but I did not over stay my time in the back country this afternoon.

Good supportable riding and turning conditions this morning, with the heat coming on around mid-morning turning the east and south facing slopes soft and damp.
