Aerial view of the mountains north of Farmington Canyon from an eastbound flight roughly over I-84. I suspect similar conditions exist in other parts of the Ogden mountains.
It sounds like there is up to 12-14" of snow in these northerly facing starting zones. Repeated clear nights are taking a toll and causing the snow to facet. Some crusts are present as well due to warm air temperatures.
Could be very similar to conditions reported further south in this ob
