Quick report
Toured around the Northern Whitefish Range to find some fresh pow before the faucet turns off
- Found 10-15cm of dry recent snow on top of a 6 cm supportable crust on both southerly and northerly aspects
- Light to moderate winds out of the NE cooled us down after a steamy approach to the high country
- 2-4 cm of new snow fell throughout our tour
- Minimal snow coverage below 4600' made for some quality road walking

Cloud deck hovered around 7000' all day limiting visibility of nearby peaks. intermittent S-1 to S1 snow most of the day. Light winds with moderate gusts out of the NE until about 1300, then calm.

- 6-8cm supportable crust below new snow that was difficult to penetrate with snowmobile or snowbike
- HS 140-145 on Northerly and Westerly aspects above 5500'
