A few mostly clear days made for good turns on snow that is becoming more supportive. There are still hollow pockets in the snowpack, especially around deadfall and rocky areas. Cracking and collapsing is widespread. Broad temperature swings and intermittent winds.
Clear skies gave views of recent D1 avalanches on N and NW slopes below and near treeline. A small pocket on Exon's Folly slid to the dirt and nearby steep, treed chutes appeared to have sloughed out naturally.
