Stable snow ascending the South side of the ridge. As soon as I gained a flat top to the ridge a crack shot out 100 feet on either side, and broke in 2-3 separate bands at different heights. I washigh enough on the ridge that the angle wasn’t enough to make it slide, but any further down and it would have gone.
