Quick report
Here are examples we found of areas where the wind deposited snow in lee mid-elevation terrain.
Under a couple of inches of fresh snow from this week, the weak faceted snow from the January dry spell lurks beneath an inconsistent melt-freeze crust at 8900' in elevation.

Damp, dust-on-crust mostly, as we were looking for low-angle slopes with supportable snow. Droppy, sloggy, snow conditions in sheltered northerly terrain where we'd sink into faceted snow beneath the new snow.
