Quick report
A stable snowpack was observed without signs of instability. Surface conditions were un-affected by wind and the upper snowpack was not under stress. Skied a short (400') section of steep South facing terrain @5400' with 3" of dry-moist atop a knife hard melt freeze crust. loose sluff did not entrain snow below. No signs of wet loose activity during the day.
Suraface Hoar existed on West -East aspects up to 6000' in a protected basin and went away in steeper NW facing terrain above 6000'.
