This was probably around a size 2+ that triggered remotely and ran down the main gully going east of Pulpit 1. We were skinning up the ridgeline and moved close to the slope to get a look, from the safety of a group of trees on low angle terrain. As we approached, the slide was triggered remotely. Lots of whumpfing today.
Remotely triggered this avalanche while skinning up the ridgeline on relatively safe terrain. Couldn't see the deposition zone, but there was a sizeable powder cloud generated.
