The crown was up to 4' deep. Most likely occurred right at the end of the storm or perhaps after the snow stopped in the wind was still blowing. Speaking with Mike who has been in these mountains his whole life and knows them as intimately as anyone, he stated "I've never seen that slope slide". Given how unstable the snowpack is, I'm guessing this won't be the only time we hear this statement this year.
