Quick report
Took my skinny skis for a slide this morning from Main Lodge up San Joaquin ridge to about 10000 feet. Coverage on the ridgetop is adeqaute for both human powered and mechanized travel.
Snow surfaces were variable as expected. Ridges were wind scoured, protected shady slopes had 12-18" of recystalized soft snow, and solars had been through several rounds of melt and freeze, almost resembling corn snow.
