Quick report

Ascended from Aspendell (8400 ft) behind pack station along most prominent snow patches and connected with rocky ridge and booted up to ~just below 10600 when the clouds and weather rolled in. Graupel, hail, low visibility. Snow was generally a consistent soft layer on top of an obviously hard wind-packed later, making path choice up and down really important. My plan was to descend into "Maggot Hill" proper on E-ish aspect where there is a prominent snow patch, but I opted to stick somewhat to familiar snow and hit the east aspect snow field to the east, and had a lovely no vis ride down. Main take home- being adaptive to sticking with more knowns (snow condition) and steeper terrain felt better than making a the original planned descent in conditions I was not planning to dig a snow pit in.
