Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Recent and ongoing moderate to strong NE winds above 10,000' today, blowing snow visible on most alpine ridgetop features, much being lost to sublimation. There was little new slab development on SW-S-SE aspects. Upslope winds had stripped perviously skied terrain leaving raised tracks. Only sign of instability noted were small and isolated fresh wind slabs on ENE feature at ridgetop. Cracks up to 5m from skis were noted, slab depth 30cm where initiated but quickly tapering to 10cm.
