Enough snow on the road to allow for easy acces into the alpine, Skiing quality decreased entering the alpine with a thin windskin covering the road. Pit structure was poor with multiple layers of course depending on how the next couple of storms play out. Currently, the biggest hazard are rocks and what is lurking beneath the surface

Snowpack

Instability Comment

continued trend of poor snowpack structure with a weak surface and buried facets at the ground. With little snow in the forecast this problem isn't going away.

small wind skin was forming, made for tricky skiing, not much snow to move around besides the surface facets.
