Snowpack
Highly variable snowpack. Sheltered and shady slopes near 11,000 had ~30 to 45cm (12 to 18") of snowpack. Some spots had more or less. Much of the snowpack had a stout crust, about 1 to 8cm thick at the surface. Below that, the snowpack is mainly faceted crystals. Some well-developed depth hoar was found in some locations. Many southerly slopes were bare ground.
