Quick report
Toured up the ridge between Leavitt and Koenig today. Strong wind gusts from the Southwest. There isn't much snow to transport and the wind was whipping up some spindrifts in our location. A stout melt-freeze crust exists up to 10,000ft on all aspects.

Windy day with strong gusts from the Southwest. Lenticular clouds indicate high winds up high.
Snowpack
Snowpit at 10,250 on a North aspect 30 degree slope. No results from our extended column tests. Poor structure exists at the base of the pack however the snow grains have been bonding together and rounding. Height of snow 130 cm. The snowpack consisted mostly of 1 finger compacted snow with our weak snow at the base. 25-30 cm's of weak snow is at the base of the pack (4 finger)
