~15 ft propagating crack above and infront while skinning near the entrance of the chute lookers right of pinnacle ~4800ft (north face). heard collapse of weak layer. 2-4 inches of fresh snow that fell during our approach around 1:00 pm. below that was 4-8 inches of snow. below that was 1-3 inches of windboard. below that was the weak layer.
