We did an ECT at 2090 m on a SE aspect of Ripple Ridge, slope angle 30 degrees. Snowpack depth was one meter, thin (1-2 mm) layer of facets at 35 cm, wider (~ 1 cm) layer of moist facets at 70 cm. The 35 cm layer failed but did not propogate at ECT 19, nothing happened with the 70 cm layer. A shovel shear pulled out at the 70cm layer just by inserting the shovel, not pulling.
