- <p>Cornices have grown quite large and lee slope areas quite deep with last week's drifting.</p>
We avoided the large cornices and found stable deep snow and very nice powder conditions.

- <p>We noticed evidence of recent and fairly extensive natural cornice-fall activity. The cornices are much bigger than normal on the Boiler Ridge.</p> <p>We found wind slabs non-reactive to our weight.</p>
Very nice powder conditions. New snow contains a fair amount of graupel.
